How it works
The calculator applies the five monthly bands in order, adds the tax from each, then deducts the KES 2,400 personal relief. See the PAYE guide for the bands and a worked example.
Limits
- Enter taxable pay after any deductions the law allows. It does not calculate NSSF, SHIF or housing levy.
- It assumes a resident individual and does not include insurance or other reliefs.
